PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE FOLLOWING RULES.
1) NO duplicate characters....we're trying to get a massive collection of characters, not 5 Batman, 3 Superman and a guy in a bald wig as Lex Luthor. Check the news page for characters already confirmed. If you really want to go as someone then ask early.....also don't ask to be Wolverine.......might sound petty, but think about it....which doorman is going to let someone into a bar/club with 6 blades attached to their hands........
2) Over 18s only......pretty obvious really, but we are drinking so you gotta be of legal age.
3) NO assholes......basically, we are out to have FUN you will have pictures taken, people cheering at you and sometimes people giving you some stick....if you can't get along with everyone and keep your cool when you've had a skinfull this is not the event for you.
4) COMIC characters and comic style suits only.......A very good friend of mine has pleaded to go as Indiana Jones for 2 years..........no. We're sticking to the theme and although some artistic liscence is allowed to make some costumes a little more wearable we're trying to get as close to the comic look as possible. So forget about your cheap (and not so cheap) muscle chest plates....we're all natural baby!.......If you struggle with the idea of wearing something too skintight then it's time to crack out the comics and find a character with a costume a little more flattering.
5) You must be able to arrange your own transport to the event....... Hotel rooms WILL be available should you wish to stay over (prices available on the news page at a later date).
6) MOST IMPORTANT.............Have a sense of humour......this is kinda silly (though a hell of alot of fun). be ready to have fun and have TONS of people chatting to you you taking pictures etc.

ATTENDANCE AGREEMENT
Once you have completed the above webform, you will need to sign an attendance agreement. If you do not have access to a printer, there's an option in the web form below to request that we send you one to sign.
REGISTRATION PAYMENT.

Registration fees are NON-Refundable if you cannot attend or decide to pull out. However should complications arise due to HeroPubcrawl then your registration payment will be refunded to you.
COSTUME RENTAL
Ask us about the possibility of renting a costume from us, due to our love of the hobby (and previous HeroPubcrawls) we have a selection of costumes that may be suitable for you (something that pleases the wife no end when the Electic board come round to read the meter and we have to explain why we have so many superhero costumes / props). Contact us for rental prices (We're not profiting, just trying to cover the cost of dry cleaning / repairing minor wear etc). Of course the option to wear a kick ass costume without having to pay for one to be made for you is very alluring, so ask early as these suits are snapped up as soon as someone who fits comes along.
COSTUME PRODUCTION
If you are making / have your own costume then it must be approved before membership is granted. All final decisions are at the discretion of HeroPubcrawl and it's organisers.
If you want us to make your costume for you then please understand, we will need measurements, and a couple of opportunities to meet, try on the suit etc. These costumes are NOT CHEAP. Expect to pay a MINIMUM of £100-£150 (more complex costumes may cost much more). They may also take some time to create.....so contact us as early as possible so that we can discuss price and determine whether we have time to make the costume. I cannot stress this enough.......most of the costumes are put together by myself and my long suffering wife. We have an incredibly busy schedule and this is not our job...we do this for the love of the hobby and to help others go. Each suit can take SEVERAL WEEKS to make (accounting for shipping parts from around the world, customising, sculpting/painting etc), so PLEASE ensure that you contact us as early as possible to get the costume underway....we simply will not be able to get them made with only a couple of months to go...if you need us to make you a suit....ASK EARLY, leave it too late and we will not have room in our diary to get it done for you.
All payments for costume pieces etc must be received and completed before any work will commence....we have lost waaaay to much money ordering and making suits for people we know who will 'pay us back later'. We will provide prices for parts and require payment BEFORE we order or make anything. We will of course give you an estimate of how much the entire costume will cost to make wherever possible, though be prepared for fluctuations in prices as certain suppliers may be out of stock / exchange rates affect ordering parts etc. If you cannot attend or decide to pull out of HeroPubcrawl moneys spent on items will be NON-Refundable. All 'In Production' costumes remain property of HeroPubcrawl and will remain so until they are collected on the day of the event. If you do not attend the event, any costumes or props created for you will remain property of HeroPubcrawl and it's organisers.
Rest assured we make absoloutely NO profit from making these costumes (nice aren't we).....we simply want to ensure that everyone who wants to go gets a chance...not only that but these characters are copyrighted by various companies.....to profit from replicating any element of their intellectual property woul be an infringement of copyright laws.
